SIXTY AND SAVVY

HOW DID WE GET HERE AND WHAT'S AHEAD?

I'm not sure that this should be posted in here, but, I was a little excited, and closing in on 60 this year, thought I'd grab the brass ring flying past me!:) It was refreshing to see I could still recall the feeling of being a girl in her teens:)

My short story that placed in the LASR contest is up and available to view at no charge. The requirements for this piece was PG13 with a HEA ending, in the romance category....none of which I generally write:) If you click on the site below it will take you directly to it:) The piece is entitled The Pan Man.

Great story.
After clicking on the link and seeing this posted in the submissions section, I find myself smiling.

I loved that story. You write humor great as well. I've never been able to do that, wish I could. I can make my brothers and sister laugh when we get together but for some reason, I can't write any.

I wish I had someone here to help lose weight with. For my health I should lose but living in the country, I don't get to meet anyone and my last good friend died last month. Guess I need to get out more and meet some people.

I'm at home on the computer all the time with just my two Australian Shepherds for company. WHich they are great company, but at times you need an adult to talk to. Anyway, great story, I really enjoyed reading it. SHirley
