Hi Ms. Oak Tree Press! Looking forward to seeing you next month at the conference in Taylorville IL.
Last week we went to a church family camp we haven't been to in years, one my mom and auntie went to faithfully into their 90s. This time hubby and I were the oldest--which my cousin who is 11 months younger than me kept mentioning.
Fancy meeting you here!! This looks to be such fun...I always feel like I am the oldest in every group...except of course when I take Mrs. to the Senior luncheons like today...I am a kid at those events...LOL
It's the perfect place for me. Actually, I loved the sixties. I felt great, didn't look too ancient, and got a lot of respect. Not quite as enamored with the seventies.
Hi Marilyn,
Thanks for coming onboard. I hope you have a good time here and tell a few more people about us.

Name a fad or something else you remember from growing up.
In the spring, the only shoes to wear to high school were Capezio ballet slippers--expensive and needless to say they didn't last long. In the winter, it was Joyce oxfords, again expensive and you weren't "in" if you wore a look-alike. We also always wore dresses and skirts, no pants allowed,
What do you do for fun? Do you have a hobby?
I enjoy being with my kids, grandkids, and great-grands. I also love to read and go to the movies. And believe it or not, I enjoy doing promotion for my books.
Are you retired, semi-retired, or working at a full-time job?
I've retired from several jobs, but I write full-time, my own work, some ghost writing, and also do writing projects for others.
