HOW DID WE GET HERE AND WHAT'S AHEAD?
The World is Too Much With Us
Blogs, websites, e-mail, Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, 437 "Ning" groups...I find myself running faster and faster just to stay in place, and I'm losing ground.
As a writer, I just want to write books. Unfortunately, in today's world and for writers of a stature somewhat lower than J.K. Rowling, who is one of the 800 pound gorillas in the publishing room, and Steven King, who can get a six-figure advance just by jotting down an idea on a napkin, writers also have to get out there and wave their own flags and beat their own drums and....Oh, well.
Anyway, just wanted to let anyone who might conceivably be interested that my latest paranormal mystery, Aaron's Wait, is now out there. A really nice review appears on Untreed Reads (http://www.untreedreads.com), and I'm attaching the cover photo here.
And now I have 37 other things which have to be done within the next ten minutes, so if you will excuse me....
